   Job Responsibility: Development of Primary, Secondary and Tertiary Packaging Material for Local & ROW markets. Handling Solid dose, Liquid, Tropical, OTC formulations. Recommendation of Suitable packaging material for all markets. Development of blister & strip change parts in co-ordination with R&D, Production and Marketing & Coordination with Change Part Manufacturers for fulfillment of requirement. Cost reduction proposal in Packaging Material by Alternate Vendor Development. Artwork Development in accordance with specific country requirement. Artwork preparation with 2D code according to DGFT guideline. Preparation of Art Works e.g. Al. Foils (Continues/Eye-Marking), Cartons/Catch covers, Box Labels, Leaflets (Inserts), Labels, etc. For Third Party Products coordination with Manufacturer for samples, Layout for finalizing the specification. Prepare Packing Material Specification & Bill of Material. Preparation, counter checking & final approval of artworks and its subsequent processing (single–up proofing, Multi-up proofing & shade cards). Online /Offline shade proof approvals. Co-ordination with Purchase, Business Development team, Supply Chain, Marketing, Engineering, Manufacturing Location, F&D, Regulatory Affair, Licensing Dept. Value Engineering - Cost reduction, changeover of blister packs & other packing materials etc. Vendor Visits and training about quality parameters and cGMP. Coordinating with vendors on their various developments. Development of new innovative packaging material. Complaint Analysis for packing materials. Shipper development for commercial order & promotional items. To ensure vendor approval for packing material within timelines. Sourcing of new packing material, preparing of specification, follow up timely delivery and QC release. To prepare, specification in DMS (Document Management System). Approval of artworks from clients. Updating all data in SAP on regular basis.
