ABOUT MUDIT MISHRA

Recently, I worked as a Management Trainee at Prism Johnson Limited in the Special Project Department. The department was involved into cost optimisation for the Company through various measures like the introduction of new technologies or process improvement. Also, Develop and implement strategies to ensure the function is operating in line with the objectives of the business to add value, mitigate supply chain risk and deliver cost savings. Our department was responsible for Purchasing and Cost Estimating activities across different business divisions.I also have experience as a Project Associate(Structural Engineering) in the National Centre for Disaster Mitigation and Management at Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur under Principal Investigator Prof. S.D. Bharti of the project entitled \'Earthquake Safety of Dam, Towards Implementation of the Safety Act 2021\'.My interest lies in Structural Health Monitoring, Earthquake Resistant Design of RCC, Steel, Precast Concrete Buildings, AI based Structural Health Monitoring. I am also interested in Sustainable, Affordable & Energy Efficient Building Construction.I did my M.Tech. in Earthquake Engineering from National Centre for Disaster Mitigation and Management at Malaviya National Institute of Technology, Jaipur. My master\'s thesis was entitled \'A Computer Vision-Based System for Dynamic Monitoring of Model Structure\' under the supervision of Prof. M.K. Shrimali. I did dynamic monitoring of a three-story frame model structure on a shake table and validated the measured displacement with high-resolution laser displacement sensors.I have also worked on a state-funded project to develop designs for Aanganwaadis (Centres for providing care for mothers and young children in rural areas) using Structural Steel under Prof S.D. Bharti(Head, NCDMM) and Dr. Jaswant Arlekar(Adjunct Faculty, NCDMM). I was in the team which modelled, designed, and quantity estimated the Aanganwadi Steel Structure using AutoCAD, MS Excel and did Full-Scale testing of the structure at National Earthquake Testing Facility, MNIT Jaipur.Prior to my masters, I completed my bachelors from VIT, Vellore, with a CGPA of 8.63/10. For my B Tech project, the topic was \'Effectiveness of Shear Wall in Improving Earthquake Resistance of RCC Buildings\' using Bentley STAAD.Pro under the supervision of Prof. S.K. Sekar(Sr. Professor, VIT Vellore) & Dr. Goutam Ghosh(Associate Professor, CED, MNNIT-Allahabad, Prayagraj).
