ABOUT MUDDASIR RAHIM
With over 10 years of experience as a Senior Research Engineer, I have honed my expertise in the advancement of communication systems, particularly in Terahertz (THz) communications and Intelligent Reconfigurable Surfaces (IRS). My work primarily focuses on the coexistence of enhanced mobile broadband (eMBB) and ultra-reliable low latency communication (URLLC) within IRS-assisted THz networks.I specialize in defining and addressing complex challenges such as the joint power and user allocation (JPUA) problem, with the goal of maximizing data rates for eMBB users. My experience includes developing and applying advanced models and algorithms, such as the one-to-many matching game model for IRS allocation, which has led to significant improvements in network performance.My career achievements also encompass the design and optimization of Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) networks leveraging THz communication and IRS technology. This includes solving mixed-integer nonlinear programming (MINLP) problems and employing the Gale-Shapley algorithm for efficient IRS-device matching.I bring a proven track record of advancing network technology through rigorous simulations and innovative solutions, contributing to the evolution of communication systems and addressing the future needs of industry and research.
