Responsibilities- Lead night shift operations by coordinating the receipt and processing of 45–50 delivery cages per shift, ensuring timely replenishment and full store readiness for morning trade- Supervise and motivate a team of 2–3 colleagues, allocating tasks effectively to meet deadlines, maintain productivity, and uphold company standards- Oversee delivery intake and stock control, accurately checking incoming stock, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring correct rotation to minimise waste and maintain availability- Maintain high store presentation standards, completing full face-up and merchandising in line with company guidelines to deliver a clean, customer-ready environment- Provide clear handovers to morning management, communicating key operational updates, issues, and priorities to ensure continuity of store operations- Support cross-functional shifts (morning and evening), delivering excellent customer service by assisting customers, resolving queries, and maintaining a professional shop-floor presence- Ensure full compliance with health & safety procedures, leading by example in safe manual handling, equipment use, and maintaining a hazard-free working environment.
