Dr. Mubashir Chaudhry is the President & Chief Executive Officer of USP Corporate, a healthcare and technology company based in Sugar Land, Texas.Dr. Chaudhry founded Universal Surgical Assistants, now part of USP Corporate, and grew it from a single employee to an industry leader with more than 100 employees across Texas and the southeastern U.S. Universal’s team of Surgical and Physician Assistants works alongside top surgeons, assisting during operative procedures and supporting patient management throughout the continuum of care. They are highly trained professionals with expertise across multiple specialties, committed to delivering high-quality, cost-effective care.In 2011, Dr. Chaudhry expanded his vision with the creation of USP Corporate, branching into technology and real estate. USP Corporate developed a proprietary app-based software that revolutionizes scheduling, billing, and logistics for surgical procedures, while also managing significant real estate investments.With nearly three decades of healthcare and business experience in the greater Houston area, Dr. Chaudhry brings a wealth of expertise. Originally from Lahore, Pakistan, he completed medical school there before continuing his medical training in Ireland. He moved to Houston in 1995 and earned a Master’s and Doctorate in Public Health from the University of Texas Health Science Center, specializing in Health Services Organization and Disease Prevention and Health Promotion. His research has been recognized by the American Public Health Association and AcademyHealth in 2018.Beyond healthcare and business, Dr. Chaudhry is an active civic and philanthropic leader. He is the founder and Board Chairman of the Patient Benefit Foundation, a nonprofit providing financial assistance for surgical procedures to those in need. He has served on the Philanthropic Council for Shriners Children\'s Hospital of Houston, as President of the Pakistan-USA Chamber of Commerce, as Chairman of the Fort Bend County Healthcare Task Force, and as a Board Member of both the Fort Bend Economic Development Council and the Alliance Board of Directors in Houston.
