ABOUT MUAD TUNSI
Early Career engineering professional with a first class bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and experience in purchasing, Engineering design, Quality and Manufacturing throughout various different rotations in my industrial placement year with Longwood engineering company limited.My specialist interest is in design engineering, Quality and manufacturing and some projects that I was involved in the engineering design to create a detailed engineering drawings in line with standards and designs of sewage water screen component using AutoCAD and solid works. I also adhered to ISO9001 standards and created Bill of materials as part of the components modelled. In manufacturing department, I was set a projects by my technical director of implementing a new inventory stock taking system to manage and allocate components for sewage water screen projects using Sage 200 software. This helped the company in improving efficiency and eliminating waste of correctly allocating components to various sewage water screen projects. I also adhered to KPI for onsite deadlines and ensuring that stock is issued and delivered on time for internal and external customers. I also led the procedure of working in the manufacturing shop floor to improve productivity and efficiency with the 5S lean manufacturing process. Currently seeking graduate engineering roles with a focus on design engineering, Quality and manufacturing. Interested to connect with professionals working in the engineering in order to develop my understanding of industry trends, build my network and share my own insights from my previous industrial placement experience in Manufacturing and Design engineering.
