I am a highly driven and dedicated individual, always keen to learn, to adapt, and not afraid to ask questions. I believe that the best way to work effectively is through clear communication and respect for others. I love working with people and challenging myself to go outside my comfort zone. Through the several projects, organizations, and leadership roles that I’ve held, I’ve been able to put my problem solving and critical thinking skills into action. I am eager to continue exploring the world of Bioengineering through lab research and/or pursuing further technical experience in the fields of Tissue Engineering, Regenerative Medicine, and Medical Devices.So far in my professional and academic career I have been able to: Test and support medical devices for patients with Class II and heart failure Work in a laboratory environment to conduct research in the field of Corneal Tissue Engineering Investigate Human/Brain Machine Interface technologies and analyze biological signals Use professional software (Autodesk Inventor, Fusion 360, and SolidWorks) for product design Analyze and interpret data using software such as MATLAB, ImageJ, FIJI, and Excel Facilitate workshops and create curriculum related to teaching STEM topics to a wide range of youth Develop fundraising, recruitment, outreach, and other programming for various organizations Attend annual conferences such as SWE, TERMIS, NSBE, NCUR, and MESA
