Matt is a professional coach and founder of nCourage Professional Coaching, based in Charlotte, NC. His mission is to \"inspire others to see themselves as God sees them\"—filled with purpose and unlimited potential. A graduate of Erickson Coaching International’s The Art & Science of Coaching program, Matt’s coaching philosophy centers on the belief that everyone is created on purpose for a purpose. He empowers clients to embrace their authentic identity, align with their core values, and step boldly into a life of meaning and fulfillment. With a supportive and action-oriented approach, Matt helps clients craft a vision for their ideal life and take decisive steps to make it a reality.Before founding nCourage, Matt built a successful 12-year career in Executive Search, where he partnered with organizations to assemble high-performing teams and coached financial leaders to advance their careers. His hands-on experience in leading teams sharpened his ability to mentor others and cultivate leadership excellence.Matt’s commitment to service began with his enlistment in the United States Marine Corps after high school. This included combat deployments to Iraq as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom, an experience that instilled resilience, discipline, and a deep sense of purpose. His passion for personal growth led him to pursue studies in Psychology at Liberty University, and he continues to develop professionally as an active member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF).In addition to his professional work, Matt is deeply involved in his community. He leads the Charlotte Young Professionals program with the Christian Business Men’s Connection, mentoring emerging leaders and fostering a sense of purpose and connection. He has also supported veterans and their families struggling with PTSD by leading Reboot Combat Recovery programs across Charlotte, providing healing and hope to those who have served.Outside of his coaching and volunteer commitments, Matt is passionate about living a vibrant and healthy lifestyle. He enjoys running marathons, staying physically active, hunting, and spending time outdoors. A lifelong learner, Matt is an avid reader and podcast enthusiast who continually seeks fresh ideas and inspiration to fuel his personal growth and advance his mission of helping others lead fulfilling, purpose-driven lives.
