AtoZ Comms - Experience (October 2022 to -)- Part of the team that handles all of the experience that an associate or corporate employee faces on the new Feed experience- Led the development of the innovative Photo Gallery feature, enhancing the multimedia content delivery in the Feed- Achieved rapid deployment and adoption, reaching employees in 17 countries and facilitating 50+ articles with 267 images in less than a month.AtoZ Comms (January 2022 to October 2022)- The News and Notification teams came together to develop a “Feed” experience for the associates- Solely responsible for setting up the table definitions, data access objects along with all the queries that is used by the new Feed. This also involved creating a Guava cache, constructing all possible query combinations that were needed along with the responses- Designed and implemented the set of feature gates needed for a phased release of the new Feed experience. This involved extensive testing in prior to make sure the new features wouldn’t reach the existing audience prematurely as well as making sure we (devs, TPMs, PMs, QA) had a way of toggling it whenever we wanted. Performed all the individual phased releases along with monitoring for any issues- Had extensive sessions with another SDM at Amazon about a recurring ticket that we were getting, which ended up in the creation of an entirely new team to handle it thereby reducing ticket count by at least 15%.AtoZ Notifications & Engagement (August 2021 to January 2022)- Part of a team that built a notifications delivery experience from the ground up for Amazon associates (3M+)- Responsible for the design and implementation of the category chips and the filtration of notifications (React/TypeScript, Java, AWS CDK)- Led the ticket reduction effort single-handedly that brought down the count average from over 300 to less than 70 (compared over a 3-month period) and allowed the oncalls to focus on other essential issues/duties.
