ABOUT MARIA TEREZA LOPES DE SÁ

I am an process specialist engineer focused on embedded critical systems, software and hardware, who works for the solutions to be more efficient and safer. I am communicative, detail-oriented, and I work well as much individually as part of a team. My colleagues describe me as an easy-going and assertive person. My technical skills are related to the use of SAE ARP-4754 - and A, DO-178 B/C and DO-254 standards (EUROCAE ED–79, ED-12 and ED-80, respectively). My trajectory in aviation started when I had the opportunity to be part of aeronautic engineering specialization program sponsored by Embraer S.A. and the Technological Institute of Aeronautics, in Brazil. Before that, I had had worked for CEMAR S.A. as an electrical engineer. After finishing my specialization, I became an engineer at EMBRAER S.A. I performed several activities according to DO-178B to develop two different versions of a computerized airplane flight manual which were certified for four different aircraft. I also contributed to the certification of two commercial airplanes performing the certification of OEM\'s and suppliers\' systems, software and hardware avionics processes. Additionally, I work on many avionics follow-on modifications. I also perform Quality Assurance and Process Assurance activities according to DO-178C and ARP-4754A, respectively. I am interested to be part of a team which develops and improves solutions that makes people\'s lives safer, easier and more practical.
