Michael\'s practice primarily involves preparing and prosecuting domestic, international and PCT patent applications in various technical arts including the electrical and mechanical areas with an emphasis on telecom (5G, GSM, CDMA, LTE, BTLE and PLC), data storage structures, semiconductor devices, image sensors (CCD and CMOS), integrated circuits, surgical robots, walking assistance robots, laser and ink jet printing devices, LCD technology, medical imaging (CT, MRI and PET) devices, AI and cloud computing.Michael Teich received a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Engineering from the State University of New York (SUNY) at New Paltz. Mr. Teich received his Masters of Science (M.S.) in Electrical Engineering from SUNY New Paltz, graduating from a fully accredited ABET Engineering program ranked #1 out of 133 students, with a perfect 4.00 GPA.Mr. Teich worked as an Engineer at Underwriters Laboratories (UL). While at UL, Mr. Teich focused primarily on conformity assessment of industrial control equipment.Mr. Teich went on to receive his Juris Doctor from Hofstra University School of Law with a concentration in Intellectual Property (I.P.). Michael made the Dean\'s list three separate semesters, and was the recipient of a Deans Honors Scholarship. Michael graduated in the top 20% of his law school class. At his law school commencement ceremony, Mr. Teich was conferred the Citation of Excellence in Intellectual Property Law, an award given to a graduating 3L who exemplified excellence in the study of I.P.In 2011 after graduating law school, Michael joined the Washington D.C. office of Harness Dickey, a 100+ year old patent boutique with offices in metropolitan Detroit, St. Louis, Washington, DC, and Portland, Oregon. Founded in 1921, Harness Dickey has over 100 patent attorneys representing every technical discipline, in 2011, Intellectual Property Law Today Magazine ranked Harness Dickey as number five (5) among 356 patent firms in the United States.
