Now retired, Michael Stoner consulted to schools, colleges, and universities on issues relating to Internet/web strategy, social media, web development, student recruitment, fundraising, creating and nurturing affiliation and engagement, staffing, and online/offline communications.In 2001, Michael launched mStoner with partners Voltaire Miran and Rob Cima. In two decades, mStoner completed more college and university website redesigns than any other agency and worked with more than 300 schools, colleges, universities, and professional schools to improve their online presence. In September, 2021, Michael and partners Voltaire Santos Miran and Bill McLaughlin, sold mStoner to Carnegie Communications and, in December, Michael retired.
