About Semefa Agbokou

As a Lead Kindergarten Teacher at Neighborhood Charter School, I am responsible for implementing a stimulating and engaging curriculum that supports the development of young children. I work with a team of dedicated educators who share my passion for providing a high-quality and inclusive education for all students. I also leverage my administrative skills to coordinate and communicate with parents and staff effectively.I have over six years of experience in teaching and supporting children from diverse backgrounds and needs, both in formal and informal settings. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from SUNY Geneseo, where I learned the best practices and theories of pedagogy and curriculum design. I have a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and Special Education (Birth-2). I am always eager to learn new skills and explore new opportunities that challenge me and help me grow as a professional and as a person. My goal is to be a part of something bigger than myself and to make a positive difference in the lives of others.
