ABOUT MAXWELL STAVER

I am a principal investigator (staff scientist) with 7 years of research experience in formulation, polymer science, rheology, product development, and experimental design. In my role at Ashland, I develop surfactants, rheology control agents, and defoamers for water based coatings. My PhD research focused on the implementation of \"green\" polymer technologies in asphalt paving and optimization of the polymerization procedure. I am eager to put my wide range of skills to use to help in the research and development of new products.MATERIALS SYNTHESIS: Dispersions | Milling | Polymers | FormulationsMATERIALS/ CHEMICAL CHARACTERIATION: Spectrophotometry Optical Analysis Dynamic Light Scattering | Particle Size Analysis Optical/Fluorescence Microscopy | Scanning Electron Microscopy Infrared Spectroscopy | UV-Vis Spectroscopy Rheology | Colloidal Systems Mass Spectrometry Nuclear Magnetic Resonance X-ray Fluorescence | X-Ray DiffractionSOFTWARE LITERACY:Microsoft Office Suite | AutoCAD | Civil3D | MATLAB | RStudio | JMP ProSOFT SKILLS:Project Management | Organization | Communication | Cross-Functional Collaboration | Leadership | Time Management | Commercial and Regulatory Acumen | Conflict Resolution | Teaching | Mentoring | Emotional Intelligence | Creative Problem Solving | Adaptability
