ABOUT JA-SLOAN

I am a Texas licensed attorney adept at negotiating and structuring technology transactions for the purchase or sale of hardware, software, and services, including licensing software. Working collaboratively across multiple functions, I have supported the development and sale of new products as well as assisted in streamlining processes to ensure a smoother end-to-end contracts cycle. As the fast and secure storage and transfer of data becomes more important, my core competencies now include tracking and analyzing developments in privacy law in the US and the EU. This allows the businesses I support to take a proactive approach to maintaining legally required standards as well as allows me to suggest and foster internal buy-in on policies and practices to ensure organizational compliance. Adopting a customer service focused approach drives me to seek to fully understand the needs of internal and external clients and, using finely honed communication skills, I endeavor to serve as a trusted and valued resource. By staying aware of my company\'s needs, industry standards, and developing law, I ensure the organizations I support receive thorough analysis of risks and practical strategies to manage or mitigate this risk.
