Reporting to the Head Buyer and working closely with the Production Manager, as well as the product and sales team in the UK and our team in PakistanCritical path management and monitoring internal department and supplier adherence to key datesReporting any key supplier issues to the Head Buyer such as supplier lateness so a plan can be implemented to minimize the impact on stock availabilityRaising Purchase Orders and aid the department in PO system managementArranging supplier paymentsCommunicating with the relevant internal and external teams to ensure all shipments are planned and booked with the end customers in accordance with company guidelines. Compiling shipping documentation from suppliers to provide to customers.Support the team in compiling and running central documentation. Including regular reporting using Microsoft ExcelLiaising with overseas suppliers on a daily basis via email, video call and telephoneWorking with the UK team and suppliers to implement plans to maximize production capabilities to meet customer requirements and minimize the impact of poor stock availability / lateness etc.General admin and system housekeeping
