The Communications Maintenance Division of the Durham Emergency Communications Center maintains approximately radios, four tower sites and four 911 centers. We also provide 24/7 emergency support for the 800MHz emergency public safety radio system. This division provides installation and repair of City and County radios. I also have assisted in replacing a Motorola Smartzone 4.1 / 3600 Radio System With A Motorola P25 7.15 / 9600 Radio System Using SmartX Migration and in replacing all Motorola Gold Elite Dispatch Consoles at 4 dispatch sites with Motorola MCC7500 Dispatch Consoles.
