I’m a technology leader with nearly 20 years of experience leading teams and developing double bottom line solutions that produce profits while serving the public good. I’m currently living the dream as Chief Technologist and Co-Founder of Digital Transformation Solutions, Co-Director and Co-Founder of the Cambridge SupTech Lab, and also serve on several advisory boards and industry groups.Previously I was Director of Inclusive Fintech at impact innovation firm BFA Global, and the inaugural Portfolio Engagement Manager and Technology Lead for the Catalyst Fund\'s inclusive fintech and inclusive digital commerce startup accelerators, where we facilitated growth of 60+ startups, unlocking US$640M+ in follow-on investment. Prior to that I served as co-founder and CTO at Bytemark, digitally transforming mass transit through patented tech, co-creation of ISO ticketing standards, and acquisition by Siemens Mobility.My focus is on using innovative, data-driven technologies to solve social challenges, improve access to services, and support the public sector. The Cambridge SupTech Lab partners with financial authorities, technology firms and data scientists to craft solutions addressing the emergent gaps between the speed of digitalisation of financial services and the speed at which public agencies can innovate. An initiative of the Cambridge Centre for Alternative Finance at the University of Cambridge Judge Business School, the Cambridge SupTech Lab aims to accelerate the creation and adoption of supervisory technology (SupTech) to enable effective digital supervision and regulation for greater protection of consumers and more scalable, sustainable delivery of financial services. This is achieved through a combination of- Empirical research and the development of a shared body of knowledge - Co-creation of a scalable digital toolkit - Provision of education, training, peer learning and technical assistance.
