As Registered Care Manager with Blue Heart Care Group, I hold responsibility for the operational leadership, governance, and strategic direction of regulated domiciliary and community care services across Wales. My remit encompasses the delivery of safe, compassionate, and person-centred care in accordance with the Regulation and Inspection of Social Care (Wales) Act 2016, Social Services and Well-being (Wales) Act 2014, and Care Inspectorate Wales standards.I provide professional oversight of all aspects of service delivery, including quality assurance, workforce development, safeguarding, and compliance monitoring. This involves the implementation of robust governance frameworks, supervision and appraisal systems, and data-driven quality improvement measures designed to ensure continuous enhancement of care outcomes.Working collaboratively with local authorities, commissioners, multidisciplinary professionals, and families, I focus on fostering transparency, accountability, and shared learning across all levels of practice. I also lead on recruitment, induction, and performance development, supporting a skilled, motivated, and values-driven workforce committed to excellence.My leadership approach is rooted in evidence-based practice and reflective supervision, ensuring that service delivery remains compliant, innovative, and sustainable.
