I started as an intern and now work as an data scientist at Telespazio France, specializing in the GeoInformation pole. My primary focus is on developing two precision farming services using drone observation and AI- GeoAdventice: A weed detection solution for agricultural fields- GeoCannabis: A precision farming solution aimed at increasing legal cannabis crop yields.In my role, I am responsible for- Managing and processing large datasets of high-resolution drone images and orthomosaics- Training and comparing cutting-edge object detection architectures (Yolov5, EfficientDet, Faster RCNN) and semantic segmentation architectures (FPN, UNet)- Developing end-to-end production pipelines for preprocessing, inference, and post-processing of data.Notable achievements include halfing human supervision requirements in production through improved precision and robustness of the models.
