The main focus areas are- Translating the company mission, product vision, and engineering strategy to a clear and actionable development roadmap - ensuring teams solve the right challenges for the right reasons- Managing distributed teams and overseeing the software development lifecycle - from idea to delivery - in an agile environment- Enabling and engaging developers to incrementally build and deliver value to customers and stakeholders- Overseeing hiring as well as the interview process of technical roles. Facilitating growth and career development of engineers and engineering leaders- Defining and implementing best practices throughout the entire software development life cycle, guiding software-architectural and general technical decisions- Advocating end-to-end automation, covering implementation, security, quality assurance, and deployment.
