I have over thirty year\'s experience in IT operations management in a variety of client server and legacy mainframe technologies. I currently manage a group of DBA’s that support the core FedEx Express Air Hub and Ground Operations systems. I also have several years experience helping build and manage, and lead the FedEx IT Command Center. I have experience managing alternative delivery services providers and the associated business expectations. I\'m also skilled and confident in managing a 24X7 IT operations support environment to resolve unplanned IT incidents. I have experience planning and implementing strategic growth opportunities for the departments and people I\'m fortunate to have on my team. I also have knowledge in the IT government compliance field (SOX, HIPPA, and PCI). I have a FedEx QDM (Quality Driven Management) certification. In addition I’m a long term front line manager that enjoys working with people to help them grow professionally. I can successfully work with a diverse team to accomplish common company goals.
