As a Software Engineer with 4 years of experience (and a prior life as a Structural Engineer ), I specialize in building intuitive, high-performance web applications. My journey from designing buildings to crafting scalable software solutions brings a unique analytical mindset and problem-solving flair to my work. If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that strong foundations—be it in structures or code—are the key to success! A few highlights from my tech adventures- Playing a significant role in developing HRIS applications at Cloudspark Labs, contributing to features like time-off requests and expense submissions integrated with Microsoft Teams- Backend integration using Node.js and Microsoft Azure to ensure seamless functionality and performance across the stack- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, leveraging strong communication and teamwork skills to streamline deployment processes and ensure smooth project releases- Combining technical proficiency with a keen attention to detail in UX/UI design, crafting solutions that are both efficient and user-friendly.With proficiency in ReactJS, TypeScript, and Node.js, I create scalable, user-centric solutions that balance functionality and design. Fun fact: My transition from engineering buildings to engineering software wasn’t just a career shift—it was a pivot driven by curiosity and a desire to create things that people interact with daily.(Though I still geek out over cool bridges and skyscrapers!)When I’m not coding, you’ll find me exploring my creative side through sketching, painting, or designing balloon installations. I have a natural passion for working with colors and blending artistry into everything I create, whether it’s a visual design or a technical solution.
