PERISCOPE exists at the intersection of entrepreneurship, equity, and impact. The virtual accelerator equips aspiring entrepreneurs with the knowledge, confidence, and community needed to thrive in today’s complex economic and social landscape.At PERISCOPE, I lead a purpose-driven entrepreneurship accelerator that delivers accessible and inclusive education programs to empower individuals from the global majority - including women, BIPOC, LGBTQ2S+ individuals, newcomers, and people with disabilities - to launch and grow socially conscious and climate-forward ventures.Key Contributions:Vision & Stewardship: Set the strategic direction of the accelerator, rooted in a stewardship model of leadership that prioritizes community impact, shared prosperity, and inclusive innovation.Program Design & Delivery: Designed and launched accessible, virtual learning programs focused on practical business skills, social enterprise development, and impact measurement.Capacity Building for the Global Majority: Created equity-centered programming that responds to the specific barriers faced by underrepresented entrepreneurs, with a strong emphasis on mentorship, community building, and real-world applicability.Partnership & Ecosystem Development: Cultivated relationships with nonprofit organizations, mentors, funders, and ecosystem partners to expand program reach and deepen impact.Thought Leadership: Shared insights from over a decade of nonprofit and community sector experience to support emerging entrepreneurs in translating lived experience into innovative business models.Monitoring & Learning: Applied continuous evaluation and feedback loops to ensure programs remain relevant, learner-focused, and aligned with evolving economic, environmental, and social challenges.

Over the past decade, I have had the privilege of working at the intersection of workforce development, social impact, and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in Canada.In my roles with organizations such as WoodGreen Community Services, PERISCOPE, YMCA of Greater Saint John, Rise, The Career Foundation, and Dixon Hall Neighbourhood Services, I have focused on fostering partnerships and designing programs that empower diverse communities. My goal has been to equip individuals with the skills and resources necessary to thrive in a rapidly evolving labor market.My dedication to social impact is evident in my proactive approach to workforce development solutions. I lead initiatives that bridge the gaps between education, employment, and entrepreneurship, collaborating with both for-profit and nonprofit organizations to enhance their economic, social, and environmental impact.In addition to my organizational responsibilities, I advocate for policy changes that promote inclusivity and equitable access to economic opportunities. I engage with policymakers, industry leaders, and community stakeholders to champion initiatives that foster a more equitable and resilient workforce.I also have significant board governance experience, currently serving as the Chair of the Board of Directors for East York Meals on Wheels and as the Executive Director of the Bartenders Benevolent Fund. Previously, I held a director position at Neighborhood Legal Services, a legal aid clinic in East Downtown Toronto.I hold a Bachelor of Arts in History from Carleton University and am currently an MBA candidate at the Sprott School of Business, also at Carleton.Outside of my professional commitments, I actively mentor newcomers through the TRIEC Mentoring Partnership, helping them develop leadership skills and integrate into the workforce.As an avid runner, I have completed 48 races, including 11 marathons in New York, Los Angeles, and Toronto. Additionally, I serve as a Road Running Leader with Athletics Canada.
