ABOUT REBECCA RITCHIE
I am a Conference interpreter & translator working bilaterally between French and English, based in Edinburgh, Scotland. Affiliate member of the Institute of Translation and Interpreting (ITI) & member of ScotNet. I hold an MSc with Distinction in Interpreting and Translating (French<>English) from Heriot-Watt University, along with two other degrees from Université de Caen Normandie in Anglophone studies (BA) and English Linguistics (MScR). I provide interpreting services (simultaneous, RSI, consecutive and liaison) and have experience working for organisations such as the (COP26), UNOPS, CEPOL, Interreg, European Works Councils, Global Greens, ISOC, Microsoft, Honeywell and the CNRS (France). I am well versed in various platforms for Remote Interpreting: Zoom, Interactio, Interprefy, KUDO, RSI X, Akouo and Webex, and other events platform software such as EventsAir and vMix. I also have experience in teaching French and English, both face-to-face and online.
