If you need one, you choose Denise Davis and The Motor City Sensations. Comprised of some of the best musicians and singers around, this band will rock any venue and energize any event. With a repertoire of R&B, Pop, Funk, Top 40, Soul, and Classics, Denise Davis and the Motor City Sensations are one of the most dynamic and entertaining party bands in Metro-Detroit. Denise Davis and her musicians have performed at some of the most popular entertainment venues in Metro-Detroit, including Greektown Casino, The Motor City Casino, The Music Hall Jazz Café, Andiamo, Bert’s Motown Lounge, Floods, and The Detroit Princess Boat. She is accompanied by singer Joe Jenkins, who has performed with bands like “Perfection”, “Pure Pleasure”, “Majestic”, “Just Now”, and “the Triple Impact Band”. He sings both, lead and duet vocals, and brings a sophisticated sound to every performance. Some of the major events that Denise and her group have appeared at include The Detroit Free Press Marathon, The Susan Komen Race for the Cure, The Concert of Colors, Hollywood Casino, Greektown Casino and The Great Lakes Art Fair. Denise has also performed with the Original Motown Funk Brothers and has received nominations for her singing by The Detroit Music Awards Foundation and The Detroit Black Music Awards. She is known for her powerful vocals and dynamic stage presence.
