With two decades in recruitment under my belt — specialising in the manufacturing, engineering, logistics sectors — I’ve honed my expertise across sales, customer service, negotiations and running recruitment operations end-to-end.Back in 2004 I helped launch MYNT Recruitment, a recruitment business here in Yorkshire from scratch. Through a combination of relentless focus, service integrity and regional coverage (York, Rotherham, Hull) we built it into a trusted brand generating £5 million+ turnover, employing strong teams and delivering real value to clients. I successfully sold this business in 2022.In 2023, I founded Sherpa Selection, a specialist recruitment business working closely with manufacturers across Yorkshire to help them identify, attract, and retain top-tier management, commercial, and engineering professionals.In June 2025, Sherpa Selection merged with Summit Selection, a well-established recruiter supplying high-quality temporary staff across the manufacturing, logistics, and engineering sectors.Together, our businesses now offer clients a complete recruitment service — from temporary shop-floor operatives to senior management appointments — all delivered with the same values of reliability, honesty, and trust that have guided us from day one.Our shared mission is clear: to strengthen partnerships, raise our brand across Yorkshire’s industrial sectors, and continue delivering recruitment solutions that genuinely make a difference.
