About Mohit Singh
I’m a backend engineer with 3+ years of experience building reliable, scalable systems in fintech, where things need to work correctly and keep working.I mostly work with Java and backend infrastructure, designing and building systems for core banking platforms, APIs, and workflow automation. I enjoy taking messy or complex requirements and turning them into solutions that are clean, maintainable, and easy to reason about.At work, I’ve been involved in migrating legacy core banking workflows, automating key parts of the loan lifecycle, and building backend systems that improve reliability and operational efficiency. I care a lot about good system design, testing, and writing code that doesn’t become a problem six months later.Outside of work, I contribute to open source and mentor students as a Google Summer of Code mentor. I believe code should not only solve the problem in front of you, but also be pleasant for the next person who has to work on it (which is often me).
