Mychal Connolly, Stand Out Truck King, is the owner and creator of multiple enterprises: Stand Out Truck®, the Create Dope Stuff and Stay Sucka Free™ book program, Launch and Stand Out Content Creation Agency, and Marketing and Cupcakes™. His journey began when he came to the United States as an 18-year-old with nothing but ambition, and he turned that drive into a thriving career. Since beginning his marketing career at the ripe age of nine, Mychal has taken the wisdom gained over the years to channel his knowledge into a number of entrepreneurial opportunities. His first was Stinky Cakes, a practical diaper cake gift option for new parents. Several years ago, he created the unique rolling advertising billboard Stand Out Truck®. Mychal also compiled his marketing expertise into a book about marketing and entrepreneurship, Launch and Stand Out, which led to his content creation agency of the same name. The secret to Mychal’s success? Incredible Work Ethic. It’s a value that was instilled by his family, and it’s something he further developed by observing others who are at the top of their field. Whether through one-on-one conversations with leading business owners or listening to post-game interviews with Michael Jordan, Mychal realized that natural ability can only get you so far. It became clear that incredible work ethic is the best indicator of what it takes to become successful. Mychal has made this a priority in everything that he undertakes and surrounds himself with others who have that same philosophy. It’s even part of his Stand Out Truck® motto. He recognizes that every business will face adversity, but work ethic and determination is the secret to overcoming challenges and weathering the storm. Bumps in the road are inevitable, but Mychal gives personal perspective and insight for overcoming these challenges with the right attitude and determination.
