ABOUT KELLY STRONG

I don’t do quick fixes. I build lasting change. With over 12 years of experience in safeguarding and systems reform, I’ve had the privilege of leading transformational change across organisational, Sub-County, and County levels in Kenya. From reuniting children with their families to supporting care systems as they transition from institutional models to community-rooted, family care, my commitment remains unwavering: to always uphold the best interests of the child. Along the way, I’ve strengthened safeguarding standards, challenged the status quo, and overseen a £1 million project build abroad, an experience that stretched me beyond measure. But real impact isn’t measured in budgets or blueprints; it’s measured in people’s lives. It’s about justice. It’s about doing what is right, not what is easy. My journey has taken me from grassroots communities to boardrooms, collaborating with NGOs, faith-based organisations, community leaders, and government officials to co-create solutions that are ethical, sustainable, and values-driven. This work isn’t about charity; it’s about restoration. Advocacy. Systems-level change that honours dignity, belonging, and love. To me, excellence isn’t perfection, it’s integrity. The courage to lead with compassion, to listen deeply, and to act boldly. Whether it’s safeguarding, governance, strategy, or helping others reimagine care, I am committed to raising the standard.
