About Ryan Wagner

My career goal is to become an assistant principal, curriculum supervisor, or academic dean in secondary education.My objectives are to offer meaningful professional development and guidance to educators, refocus students in a safe learning environment that is focused on the educational process, STEM related skills, and to create a positive and supportive connection with the community.My leadership skills were put to the test in the summer of 2016 as Sophomore Division Leader at Liberty Lake Day Camp. I oversaw 16 staff age 16 through 23, the campers under their care, and acted as a lead contact with the boys\' parents, disciplinarian, and overseer of the mission, vision, and goals for character education and daily camp activities.Recently I was a Pilot program participant in the Google Doc Initiative for Hamilton Township Schools. I oversaw the use of Docs, Drive, Classroom, and Forms by 130 of my 6th grade students of various technological skill levels. The students learned responsibility and initiative, how to communicate in an academic way over the internet, and how to collaborate to create expository text. This was definitely a chance for me to get back into my comfort zone and I look forward to inservicing my school at the end of the year or September. I am Google Educator Trainer Certified Level 1 and currently working on Level 2. I also started the school coding club back up with a focus on Scratch and JavaScript programming.
