   Owned the timesheets feature of the Next.js worker app for clinicians to log hours, overhauling the UI according to precise Figma design specs and completely rebuilding the functionality from scratch, which involved careful consideration of edge cases and building functions to handle a variety of date and time calculations. This facilitated the ease of use of a critical feature, a bug-free UX, and exponentially increased the amount of time logged in the app. Contributed significant features to the shift and contract creation features of the facility app, paying special attention to UI, innovating the user flow and vastly improving the UX addressing users’ specific needs. Researched various libraries and packages such as React Hook Form, choosing the all-around best tools for the job with both developers and users in mind. As the go-to engineering leader in UI/UX, I Initiated and facilitated conversations with the design department to improve and unify our UI and visual design across applications, catching overlooked details and design inconsistencies. Created custom styles with Tailwind CSS for developer efficiency and consistency, all of which contributed to building user trust and growing our user base by tens of thousands.
