About Mike Burger

I\'ve worked in the space industry since graduating college and I still learn every day. My previous roles have given me a great foundation and repeatedly reminded me of the level of respect most problems deserve. Space is hard.My favorite days are filled working on problem after problem. I know I\'m not always right and I\'m not too interested in what my answers are - I\'m more interested in progress towards the best answer we can get with the information we have on hand. I\'ve found a lot of joy in the learning opportunities and novel/challenging/interesting experiences that my roles have given me.Previously, I\'ve worked at NASA JPL in the mechanical systems group, Tethers Unlimited as the Chief Engineer, and Xplore as the CTO. I\'m now the Director of Formulation Methods inside the Space Systems Development business unit at Blue Origin (it\'s a lot of fun).
