CLASP is a self-advocacy group for people with learning disabilities in the Wokingham Borough.As a user-led organisation, CLASP is run by our members. We employ people with learning disabilities and offer voluntary opportunities. We support our members to have their say about how local services are developed, and we provide one to one support, information, advice and signposting. A key role in managing the operations of CLASP, a charity focused on creating inclusive, independent lives for adults with learning disabilities in the Wokingham area. Responsible for overseeing day-to-day service delivery, managing scheduling and rotas, and providing vital support to a dedicated team of staff and volunteers. Additionally, involved in driving member engagement, creating training and activity content, and fostering strong partnerships with external organizations.Key responsibilities include:• Member Support & Programme Delivery: Promoting independence, inclusion, and empowerment through engaging programs. • Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivating relationships with professionals, funders, and local organizations to expand community impact. • Fundraising & Marketing: Leading digital and social media efforts, alongside supporting community fundraising initiatives to raise CLASP\'s visibility. • Organizational Development: Contributing to the growth of the team and supporting strategic and governance initiatives to strengthen CLASP\'s operations.At CLASP, we value personal development and offer a supportive environment for those looking to grow into leadership roles.
