The Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Cone Health provides both transformative vision and day-to-day leadership for the Information & Technology Services (ITS) function. This role involves partnering with senior stakeholders both within and outside the organization to lead, drive, and enable Cone Health’s ongoing transformation into a value-based, integrated delivery to optimally care for populations of people and support the adoption of Digital Health, Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Connected Care, and Population Health principles and tools.The CIO serves in an operational and administrative leadership capacity for all of Cone Health’s existing technology infrastructure, applications, and mobile technology environments. The CIO must possess the ability to energize, influence, and build accountability through effective communication by fostering productive, supportive working relationships throughout all levels of the organization.Additionally, the CIO must have proven skills in vendor/contractor negotiation, strong budgeting and financial acumen, project management, leadership, and communication. The CIO is accountable for specific ITS areas such as Clinical Informatics, Security, Project Prioritization, Governance, Applications, Architecture, Digital, Vendor Management, Information/Data Security, and Disaster Recovery and Training.
