After a successful stint in various law firms, I wanted to explore my extensive experience on the corporate side, hence joined Emaar India Ltd. in a Senior Role. I have been heading entire South & Maharashtra Region for the organisation. I have been providing crucial legal support and practical advice to protect the interests of the company and its employees. Assessing pre-litigation escalations and on-time solution in the best interest of the organisation. Been working closely with the commercial arm of the business, functional heads and company leadership to streamline legal processes while mitigating legal risk. I have proved with ability to navigate complex legal issues and manage outside counsel. Hands on conflict resolution with the goal of early resolution without expensive litigation. Maintaining relationship with local and national law firms and managing outside counsel with the goal of streaming legal costs. I have been handling various disputes varying from Civil, Companies, Consumer, RERA, Insolvency and Bankruptcy Laws, Arbitration and White Collar Crimes and strategising for redressal of disputes. I have been drafting and vetting pleadings to be filed in courts/tribunals/commissions, notices, agreements, opinion, internal notes, etc. Have worked on transactions and related contracts.
