ABOUT MOHAMMAD REZAUL ISLAM

Currently, I am pursuing my PhD degree in Engineering Physics at McMaster University, ON, Canada. My research focus is on improving the performance of Thermo-optic Phase Shifters for Silicon Photonics applications. I have two Master\'s degrees, one from the ECE department of McMaster University (20••••23) where I have gained hands-on experience in CMOS-SPAD-based image sensor modeling, simulation, and characterization. The earlier one is from Michigan Technological University (20••••13) in Electrical Engineering where I have worked on several projects associating electromagnetic fields and waves. I earned my Bachelor’s in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the Islamic University of Technology (20••••08) in Bangladesh. During my 7+ years of a teaching career, at North South University (20••••21), and East West University (20••••15), Bangladesh in the Electrical and Computer Engineering department, I have supervised 50+ Senior and 50+ Junior Design Projects, published 20+ Conference/Journal papers, and taught basic and advanced courses of Electrical & Electronics Engineering to the undergrad engineering students. My overall research interests include Concepts and Laws of Physics, Electromagnetic Fields and Waves, Optics and Photonics, Power Systems, Renewable Energy, IoT, Embedded Systems, Robotics, Machine Learning, and the multidisciplinary approach to solving physical world problems. I am enthusiastic to learn and apply new things, methods, tools, and practices to solve engineering problems. Here is my Google Scholar profile: & hl=en
