About Mridula Vijayarangakumar
I\'m a final year Economics and Finance multi-disciplinary major with an English minor at Shiv Nadar Institution of Eminence. I am intensely passionate about connecting different fields of the Humanities together, everything from feminism to the environment. While I have developed my skills in areas such as accounting, fintech and merchant banking, I aspire to become a writer one day and thus chase after all things English as well. My areas of interest in research currently include exploring cultural nuances between the East and West and the rising soft power of different Eastern countries through Economics as well as Literature. I\'m a strong advocate for women\'s rights and diverse representation for people of colour in the publishing market. Outside of academia, you can always find me with a novel in my hand and a notebook in my bag. I enjoy art museums, long nature walks, learning new languages and getting lost in various cities!
