About Mridula Pillai

I am a full-stack developer with experience in Java, JavaScript and AWS. During my under graduation, I engaged in various curricular as well as extra-curricular activities. I was a part of the ShareIT program conducted by the Information Technology branch, where we visit a nearby government lower primary school and teach computer fundamentals to the students. I was a finalist in the Shaastra research and innovation expo conducted by IIT Madras during my second year of college.I also exhibited my leadership qualities in the Women In Technology Learning program wherein I was the program anchor and guide. I was also Head of Outreach for the Internship Handbook curated by Rethink for engineering students. Moreover, I was one of the developers of the GHCI\'18 chatbot and an esteemed delegate of Grace Hopper Celebrations India, one of the largest technical conferences for women in technology.Apart from these, I am a bibliophile with much interest in fantasies, fiction and science. I am also trained classically in Dance as well as Music and have gathered recognition for the same. I also like to blog about my learning on Medium. I used to head the Geeky Tigress Initiative wherein I interview successful women in technology and make these videos available on a YouTube channel to generate awareness amongst the new professionals regarding the plethora of opportunities before them.
