About Harold Daniel López
It all started with an album called “The Emancipation of Mimi” by Mariah Carey. The Diva sparked my interest in all things pop culture and while most 10-year-olds were playing outside, I was investing my time following the music charts on Billboard dot com and reading the tea on the internet. Then, Lady Gaga came along in \'08, and her perseverance for following her dreams inspired me to pursue a career in television, while using journalism as an art form.So, I snatched that passion and decided to earn a degree in communication arts at Florida International University.During my time at FIU, I founded the first student chapter in Florida of The Association of LGBTQ+ Journalists (NLGJA), served as entertainment director of the student-run newspaper, general manager of the student-run radio station, represented GLAAD as a campus ambassador, and interned for ABC’s \"Good Morning America\" in New York City for two semesters. My internship at \"GMA\" led to a full-time position, producing for the #1 morning TV show in the nation. My admiration for these musicians shook that desire in me for the art of storytelling. Being a Miami native and Queer Honduran American has shaped me, and whether I am in front or behind the camera, I have a passion to tell stories with my charisma, uniqueness, nerve, and talent.
