Civil Engineer with 7+ years of design and construction management experience working at Parsons Corporation leading AIS coordination for the City of San Diego Pure Water Program project and Satchell Engineering and Associates where I was an integral part of the team performing several aspects of planning, study, design and construction administration support of large water infrastructure projects like wastewater treatment facilities, aquatic life support and hydraulic water systems at zoos, aquariums & marine parks, wetland features, rainwater harvest systems, and manmade lakes. Involvement on projects include specifying system components & products to meet compliance with mandated regulations and standardizations, performing engineering calculations for sizing life support systems, hydraulic analysis, quality control, equipment selection and preparing design construction documents. In addition to the design development, I provide construction administration services which requires thorough familiarity with the design components and specifications. Published as Volunteer undergraduate research assistant under the Civil and Environmental Engineering department at Penn State University. Trained to use several technical and intricate field and lab procedures along with use of instruments that allowed tests of several different parameters of water quality. The research was involved with Penn State’s Eco-machine greenhouse where wastewater is treated through a wetlands featured system using several biological treatment techniques. The treatment system implemented aerobic and anaerobic nitrification and denitrification processes where plants and nutrients coexist, naturally reducing toxins to help improve water quality. The focus on the research was on plant species that grow and thrive in these water quality conditions all awhile helping with the purification and ultimately polishing off the treated water. The species could then be harvested and used for several life purposes like feed, fuels, and fertilizers. The harvest went through several drying techniques and lab tested for colony growth of E-Coli, autotrophic and heterotrophic bacteria for safety of all consumers and uses.Throughout my career I have been focusing on obtaining my Professional Engineer\'s license as well as gaining invaluable experience working alongside other engineers, architects, and other disciplines to design large scale facilities focused on water quality and clarity for a healthy mankind.
