In this role I have responsibility for delivering against the Wellbeing Plan which aims to create a healthy workplace that supports the physical, mental, social, and financial wellbeing of UKRI people. Key to the role is promoting the profile of the Wellbeing Team by providing a responsive and efficient service, whilst managing the delivery, promotion, and evaluation of UKRI’s wellbeing provision, including the Wellbeing Ambassador Network.Key Achievements:• Development and implementation of the Wellbeing Ambassador Network- This networks objective is to pull together the wellbeing support across UKRIs 9 research councils into one wellbeing framework of support. Ensuring consistency of available support regardless of work location and career level. In collaboration with key stakeholders, I was able to develop and launch the network within 6 months in line with the Wellbeing Plan.• Develop, pilot and launch Wellbeing Ally training – Wellbeing Ally training has been launched across UKRI with 300+ colleagues trained in 2024. • Implement a revised wellbeing brand within UKRI – Wellbeing now has a unique and easily identifiable brand within UKRI including revised web pages, presentation artwork, email signatures, etc• Strategic review of the wellbeing provisions at UKRI – In 2024 we have implemented a number of new wellbeing resources for UKRI colleagues whilst completing the procurement of a new EAP provision.• Governance and process thinking – Implemented a full governance approach to wellbeing across UKRI alongside robust process documentation, Terms of Reference and Role Descriptions.
