In my role as the Capability Lead for the Data Platform, I:1. Lead the expertise, availability, resilience, and scalability of our solutions, ensuring top-notch performance and reliability.2. Actively participate in architecture discussions, influencing the roadmap and taking ownership of the scalability, availability, and performance of our solutions.3. Drive the development of services and capabilities, leading programs/projects and establishing organizational structures and governance models to deliver critical milestones.4. Provide expert-level design and engineering support towards the successful delivery of our product portfolio.5. Ensure the backup, performance, maintenance, and patching of our data platforms, guaranteeing their smooth operation.In addition to these, I also take on responsibilities similar to a Product Owner in Agile:1. Maximize the value delivered by the team by aligning our backlog with customer and stakeholder needs.2. Serve as the team’s primary customer advocate and the primary link to business and technology strategy.3. Identify and describe product backlog items clearly to build a shared understanding of the problem and solution with the product development team.4. Make decisions regarding the priority of product backlog items to deliver maximum outcomes with minimum output.5. Determine whether a product backlog item was satisfactorily delivered.6. Ensure transparency in the upcoming work of the product development team.
