Design & Simulation: Optimized PMSM designs using Finite Element Analysis (FEM) software, resulting in a 10.5% increase in power density and a 3.4% reduction in power losses compared to previous models, Led the design and analytical evaluation of a 5kW, 8-pole PMSM prototype, achieving an excellent correlation between estimated and measured parameters and ensuring the design met specific performance and cost objectives. Developed innovative rotor flux barrier configurations for a five-phase PMSM. successfully increasing forque density while significantly reducing torque ripple, as verified by 2D FEM analysm.Prototyping & Testing: Spearheaded the fabrication and testing of PMSM prototypes, collaborating with local manufacturers to ensure design specifications were met and accelerating the new product development (NPD) cycle time. Built and validated a testing system for super high-speed PMSMs (up to 80K RPM), optimizing the software implementation for open-loop control modes.
