I am a senior audit director at the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan, reporting directly to the Global Chief Internal Auditor. With 20 years of professional experience and designations as a CPA, CA, CBV, and CFE, I bring deep expertise in internal audit, investment valuation, financial advisory, and external assurance.I lead audits across operational, governance, financial, and investment domains in all global offices. My focus is on delivering risk insights that inform strategic decisions and strengthen enterprise value.As a senior leader on the internal audit team, I provide strategic oversight on investment, enterprise-wide, and pension administration audits and advisory engagements. I co-lead initiatives to enhance audit quality and efficiency, expand team capabilities, and position Audit Services as a trusted advisor to the organization. Ontario Teachers’ had an AUM of over C$266 billion at the end of 2024.Key accomplishments- Co-leading the annual risk-based audit planning process aligned with enterprise strategy, risk landscape, and board priorities- Presenting audit findings to the Audit & Actuarial Committee and C-suite executives- Building trust with senior stakeholders through objective, insightful, and actionable recommendations- Leveraging Generative AI, Power BI, and Excel to drive data-informed audit insights- Delivering on-demand advisory support and fraud prevention advice to business units- Driving continuous improvement in audit tools, frameworks, and delivery- Empowering audit professionals to achieve exceptional results through mentorship and collaboration.Outside of work, I lead the Multicultural@Teachers’ employee resource group, representing over 500 members.I hold a Master of Accounting degree from the University of Waterloo and am proud to have placed 3rd nationally on my CBV entrance exam.
