Global Head – Regulatory Reporting Assurance (RRA), Billing Assurance and Global Finance Centre lead for Finance Business Risk Functioning as the “key member” of the Business Risk Global Leadership Team as well as managing Financial Controls Oversight - SOX (FCO) Team in India. Structurally reporting to the Head Business Risk. My role includes providing tactical, industry and managerial insight in directing and executing the monitoring and testing activities (control and substantive) supporting the following enterprise-wide programs across all geographies- Sarbanes-Oxley Compliance / Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICFR)- Internal Control over Global Regulatory Reporting- Basel independent validation- Assurance on key global regulatory reports [(e.g. FRY14Q, FRY9C, FINREP, COREP, Capital Adequacy (CCAR) and Liquidity Coverage (LCR)]I establish / upgrade the required infrastructure to enable best-in-class testing model in partnership with the RRA Leadership Team and provide thought leadership on department practices such as the execution of internal control monitoring and reporting capabilities. Hiring best-fit talent and people management is also a crucial aspect of my role. I head cross-geo staff of over 120 professionals across the hub teams in Poland, Bangalore, Hyderabad and the Joint Venture staff in Coimbatore and Chennai. Also, participate in recruitment and retention of appropriately qualified accountants/ controllers.
