ABOUT MARK PRICHARD

A highly experienced leader and product manager, with a record of success across a wide range of enterprise IT products and technologies. In a 20-year career as product manager and engineering leader, Mark has helped to build some of the most successful technology companies in Silicon Valley: BEA Systems, where he worked as Product Manager for WebLogic, and AppDynamics, where he has held several leadership roles in Product Management and Engineering. He has built and managed multiple teams, launched new products and run technical education and enablement programs for companies such as Oracle and Cisco. Mark is an extremely hands-on, “Swiss Army Knife” Product Manager, able to get things done and with a proven record for taking on challenging roles. He thrives in customer-facing roles, where he brings technical knowledge and credibility in talking about major industry trends and how they impact customers. An enthusiastic team builder, leader and mentor, he has experience in growing and leading teams large and small and takes great pride in the successful careers of all those who have worked for him.During his six-year tenure at AppDynamics, Mark took on many challenging product and engineering assignments for founder Jyoti Bansal and CTO Bhaskar Sunkara. He completely revamped the company\'s technical documentation and community efforts, hiring and restructuring to build a high-performance and harmonious team. He built out and led the E2E test organization that was critical to AppDynamics\' success, and also created the online sales demo infrastructure that is used every day by the worldwide sales teams. After the Cisco acquisition, Mark moved to head up AppDynamics\'s Cloud and Infrastructure monitoring: in this role, he led the development of monitoring solutions for Kubernetes, Docker and Cloud Foundry. He took these products from inception to delivery, and also drove GTM initiatives with blogs, webinars and technical marketing campaigns. Before joining AppDynamics, Mark spent 10 years at BEA Systems, where he worked as EMEA Solution Architect and Product Manager, working directly with most of BEA’s largest customers. Whilst at BEA Systems, Mark led a number of new product initiatives, including an innovative RFID solution, before moving to the Bay Area in 2007 to work on the launch of WebLogic Virtual Edition.
