As Senior Delivery Manager within HMLR\'s Technology function (DDaT), I am responsible for creating the right environment for effective delivery. I typically focus on ensuring the following within an agile delivery framework- Work and progress is transparent- Collaboration and communication is working across teams and other parts of the organisation- Issues, impediments, blockers and obstacles are removed (or escalated as appropriate)- Risks and dependencies are appropriately managed- Colleagues and teams are empowered and motivated- Budgeting, commercials, iterative planning & the pipeline of future work is considered throughout.Responsibilities:• I work with Senior Product Managers, Architects and relevant practices to facilitate the creation of vision, goals & roadmaps.• I support delivery managers within my team.• I act as a point of escalation and decision making for teams regarding delivery issues, providing coaching, guidance & practical advice.• I remove obstacles to delivery, allowing teams to focus on regular, iterative output for the best possible outcomes.• I share knowledge and experience with others, in line with continuous improvement principles and to help build Delivery capability for the future.• I motivate teams to deliver and continually learn and improve. • I collaborate with stakeholders, other teams and other parts of the organisation to ensure continually healthy stakeholder relationships.• I facilitate the creation of forecasts that consider estimates, risks, contingency, and assumptions in order to provide options on delivery of solutions.• I ensure a clear overview exists of changes across multiple projects and identify potential issues/opportunities, together with the relevant actions. • I manage third party suppliers for the delivery of products & services. • I am part of the Senior Leadership & Management Team, where I lead and continually improve colleague engagement, enabling the DDaT group evolution & plans.
