I’m a communications professional with nearly 20 years of experience in the public sector, currently working at Central Bedfordshire Council as the External Communications Business Partner. I lead on external communications across all directorates, supporting senior stakeholders on high-profile, sensitive and strategic issues, while also managing a small, talented team.Over the years, I’ve worked on a wide range of campaigns and major projects — from the Rugby World Cup 2015 to the implementation of the Care Act — helping to deliver clear, confident, and meaningful communication that connects with residents and builds trust in public services.Although still a qualified UKCC Level 2 rugby coach, I’ve taken a step back from coaching for now.
