ABOUT MARIO PICCININ

I have recently retired as a Senior Assurance Partner from EY after spending almost 34 years providing audit and business advisory services to private and public companies in a variety of industries. At EY, I was the Central Canada Health and Life Science Leader and also held other internal leadership positions focused on the market and EY\'s people. Working closely with my clients and their boards, primarily in the global life science and technology sectors, and as a board member on a number of corporate, industry and not-for-profit boards, I have become a trusted advisor and have strong business experience (including having hundreds of interactions with various boards) that can benefit any board. I have a passion for, and experience with, growth-oriented companies and organizations whatever their ownership structure might be (private, public or family business) having helped them achieve their strategic goals (including going from zero revenue start ups to billion-dollar revenue entities). I have built a reputation as a pragmatic and strategic financial expert with a strong industry network and as a collaborative leader that is able to guide, support and mentor management teams. I started the ICD-Rotman Directors Education Program and expect to complete it in early 2024 and I currently serve as a corporate director on ABC Intelligence Inc. I am looking for other corporate boards roles where I can bring value to the organization.
